Description: Original WWII US ARMY USMC M1 Helmet Shell. Helmet features Swivel Loops, Rear Seam, Stainless Rim & is lot stamped 1030A. Shell is a late war transitional shell prior to the Rear Seam Steel Rim conversion to reduce glare from paint loss. Helmet is approx dated 11/44. Chinstraps are OD 7 with painted Steel Flat Buckle and extender on the other strap. Helmet shows honest wear from use. Nice late war helmet shell that could've been used post war thru VN.
