Description: Offered here for sale is an ORIGINAL WWI lithographic patriotic poster commissioned and sold to support the war effort. This lithograph was acquired from a collection of prints out of a Chicago printing house (Renesch & Company) all during WWI. This particular print is titled “Spirit of Paul Jones”. It depicts a WWI sea battle with the U.S. crewman loading artillery on board a ship and firing at an already burning enemy vessel. The lithograph is approximately 16” x 20” and in full vibrant colors. For the most part in excellent condition with only minor nicks and tears in the EXTREME bottom edges of lithograph.
