Description: Up for sale is one of the most desirable, rare and difficult to find of the Marine Corps knives of WW2. An authentic red spacer Robeson Shuredge USMC MK2 knife with its originally issued black stitched sheath. This knife is in excellent, clean condition with the blade retaining roughly 95% of its blueing, the factory edge, tight leather handle and its repaired but solid pommel (this was a common issue with Robeson’s as the pommel had a weak spot weld in the center of it. In this case it was repaired, possibly right after production). The knife and sheath have been strictly stored in a climate controlled display case. A protective zippered knife case is included as well. I recommend researching this knife as to its history and low number production.
