Description: Lot of 30 Axis and Allies miniatures representing German late war vehicles, guns, and troops. All are from the first five booster sets. Base Set, Base II, Contested Skies, D-Day, and Reserves. This set is a grouping of what the Germans had towards the end of the war- A mix of tank destroyers, old and young men, some odd weapons like the Goliath remote controlled bunker buster, and some grizzled veterans. The set is great for re-creating battles in the last year of World War II. As the German player there really isn’t much left, but single vehicles that could find gas and move. But what guns they had were a lot of re-fitted 88mm’s, alone or added to designs like the Nashorn. There were also many high velocity 75mm Guns mounted on old Panzer I, II, IV chassis and these replacements became more common as the war dragged on. Add in Volkstrumm units, werewolf partisans, A few Panzerfausts, Panzershrecks and some anti tank guns and start up battle for the Sigfried line, or the Soviets crossing into Berlin. These miniatures are great for the Axis and Allies miniature game, but can also be used with any World War II rule system you like. I’ve seen people attach magnets to make squads and half squads to fit their rule system. They are great models, indeed.
