Description: WW2 Triple Ace CE “Bud” Anderson Autographed P-51 Old Crow Photograph! Mint! CE “Bud” Anderson flew P-51 Mustang Fighter Planes in 1944 and 1945. He was credited with 16 ¼ kills during his two tours of duty in the Air Corps. After the war he became an Air Force test pilot and flew combat missions in Vietnam in the F-105 Thunderchief, also known as the Thud. The North American P-51 Mustang was one of the most remarkable fighter airplanes of WW2. Given its firepower (six .50 caliber machine guns), speed, maneuverability, and range it helped the American pilots clear the skies over Germany of the vaunted Luftwaffe. Anderson’s flying skills were such that he never suffered an abort or any combat damage during his tour of duty. General Anderson passed away this year at age 102, the last triple ace. Item is an 8 x 10” black & white photograph of Anderson’s P-51 Mustang named Old Crow. The photograph is in mint condition and Anderson has signed with black ink. This is his ACTUAL autograph, not a copy or autopen. The photograph is in mint condition. Bid with confidence, I am a proud member of the Universal Autograph Collector’s Club or UACC (and published, see May-June 2004 of the Pen and Quill, UACC’s bi-monthly publication). I abide by their strict code of ethics. Check out my feedback, over 7000 satisfied buyers and counting! Your money, including return postage costs, is cheerfully refunded if you are not TOTALLY satisfied with the item. Please look at my other auctions, I add to them every day! If you bid on multiple items, I’ll consolidate your shipping costs and save you money. Shipping Information: I don’t like paying shipping any more than you do. In reality I only break even or oftentimes lose money with every item that I ship. But that is my commitment to my buyers for safe, secure and inexpensive shipping. I will happily combine shipping for multiple purchases. Photographs are triple protected placed inside a plastic cover, sandwiched in a manila folder and packed between two stiff cardboards. The outside of the package is marked clearly DO NOT BEND! First class S&H is $4 domestic; international rates have increase substantially and I've had to adjust my overseas shipping fees accordingly. Thanks for visiting my auction and good luck with your bidding! Bill Ownbey
