Worthy of hanging right away but to preserve the artwork I will always suggest professional restoration. The painting has toning from age, yellowing and probably smoke stains and or smoke damage. Heavy surface staining, scuff marks, surface scratches, paint loss, most likely frame abrasions, tiny pin holes, paint chips, abrasions, stains, discoloration, dust, cleaning/ and over cleaning, blanching, faded, surface grime, areas in right top corner of background with age cracks, impact crackle and or drying crackle. Black stains and other wear from age. Painting needs restoration. Sold as-is. Frame condition: Loss, abrasions, chips, slight separation of corners, dings, surface damage and wear from both age and hanging. Needs some repair and or restoration. Still hangs nicely!
