Description: Vintage Schmidt & Ziegler Solingen Germany 601S Carbon Steel Boning Fillet Knife. THE WOODEN HANDLE APPEARS TO HAVE HAD A CRACK/SPLIT AT SOME POINT AND HAS BEEN REPAIRED WITH SOME TYPE OF WOOD FILLER OR EPOXY. It currently feels nice and solid and usable. I only found one other of these knifes listed for sale, and they have it listed as rare. I always recommend doing your own research as well. As with any preowned knife it may require a little fine tune sharpening and polishing up. Overall it should make someone a nice quality true vintage carbon steel user grade knife.
