Description: Vintage very beautiful and quite large Rajasthani hand carved chess set with case. No chess board. All 32 pieces are in excellent condition and beautifully designed and carved of what I believe to be sandalwood. Felt bottoms. Not to sure but I believe this large set is very unique just due to its size. The kings measures approximately 6”, queens -4”, bishops, knights and rooks 2 5/8” and ponds 2”. The case measures 20” long, 12 1/2” deep and 2 3/4” tall. The case does show wear and use on the corners, missing back hinge and front latches. Still very usable.
