Description: Vintage handmade shirtwaist dress. Gorgeous soft swishy fabric in bluish/purple and red, accented with funky red buttons. There’s a lot going on in the interesting pattern - see last few photos for closeups: cafe tables, people, flowers, houses, birds and more, but somehow they look great together. I’ve had it since the early 1970s. It’s probably late 1950s to early 1960s. Features raglan sleeves and a matching fabric belt for a coordinated look. I’m not sure of the fabric, but I remember how comfortable it was to dress. Polyester, nylon, acrylic, rayon, and blends were widely used for dresses during that time period. See photos for measurements: Lying flat without stretching - waist 18” • length 43” • belt 43”. I don’t know what size to call it - maybe 8 or 10. The belt is really long so it can be cinched at the waist for a more fitted look as seen in one of the photos. There are two thin loops to hold the belt (see close up photos).
