The town of Essex was incorporated on Feb. 15, 1819. The bookhas 86 pages. I noticed when going thru the book, that it has Negroes listed at the end of the Marriages and Deaths. But thereare no Negroes listed under Births. Evidently they did not record Negroes births back then (not sure). FREE shipping.
