Description: Shipping cost reflected in the auction are probably not accurate because I discovered their based completely on priority mail shipping. Understand I will work with the buyer and find the most reasonable shipping available and then the invoice will be changed to reflect that before you pay. Even though there are no paper labels on this step stool, it is identical to item 175679628351 that sold on November 22, 2023. The ladder is all wood but reinforced with metal supports and connections. The lower two treads are slightly dovetailed into the "vertical" side legs and are supported underneath each with a wire rod that is pop riveted in the side legs. The treads are grooved for "non-slip" traction. The top, or third tread is two individual boards that are clamped in place by formed, angle braces that are pop riveted into the front and back side legs along with two rivets on the top, one each going through each board. The back two wooden cross braces are doweled into the back lets, not nailed, screwed or riveted. The hinged arm/brace on each side allowing the step ladder to fold up is still tight and secure and "snaps" into place so it doesn't accidentally fold open or shut. It simply shows the the wear, scuffs and splatters of years of use for climbing and painting where that little extra reach was needed. Just as durable, sturdy and usable today as it was back when it was made. All measurements are listed above.
