Vintage Traxxas Nitro Rustler Restored Back to Greatness (See Description)

Description: This is an early 2000s Traxxas Nitro Rustler that was saved from the scrap bin. The entire Nitro Rustler was taken apart (see pictures), cleaned, and broken parts replaced. Only broken parts were replaced. As many original parts as possible were kept. The original 2.5 engine could not be salvaged as it did not have enough compression. A brand new 2.5 was installed, and broken in following Traxxas's five tank break in process. The old engine is included, and a new piston and sleeve should bring the old 2.5 engine back to life. New parts that were installed: Traxxas 2.4GHz TQi transmitter and receiver.Traxxas 2055 servo for steering.Traxxas 2055 servo for throttle/brake.Traxxas battery box & on/off switch.Traxxas air filter.Traxxas glow plug lead wire.Traxxas 2.5 engine (broken in following Traxxas's five tank break in process.Things to Note: Rear ties are bald. The fire breathing 2.5 engine tore up the tires on full throttle pulls on tank five. The engine only has five tanks ran through it. After run oil added after tank five. Shocks have new 60 weight oil in them.Differential has 10,000 Losi differential oil in it making the differential act like a limited slip differential. Items Needed: Eight AA batteries. Traxxas 20% nitro fuel. Battery and EZ Start Control Box After run oil (add after each run!)New rear tires (although the current tires can still be used to rip up and down your street and make your neighbors jealous).This is perfect for someone looking for a Vintage Traxxas Nitro Rustler that has been brought back to life. The Nitro Rustler runs and drives great. The engine will need to be turned to your environment as weather has a huge impact on nitro engines.
