Description: A vintage "Patriot" manufactured British Union Jack flag, stamped Made in Canada, has ink stamps on the white edging and also stamped with an anchor, made of wool, measures approximately 68” across by 34” wide and the white edging measures 2”. Possibly WW2 era but not positive, has original steel hooks to attach to a roped flag pole or roped flag staff on a smaller war vessel. It does have a few minor holes, a small tear in one corner and also some thinning of material, all shown in pictures. Also shows creases from being folded and possibly stored for a number of years. The colours of material is still fairly bright.
