There is a chip to the metal on the bracket piece. Needs a thorough cleaning, there is dust/dirt build up in the crevices. I am not very familiar with vintage fishing reels but I tested the different settings on the side and it seems to be spinning well. Could possibly need serviced, please reach out with any questions.
