We believe the Doll was made by the Hakata Urasaki Doll Company in Fukuoka, Japan during the Occupied Period following the conclusion of World War II, circa 1945-1952, and “Trade-U-Mark” and “Made in Japan” within a Circle is stamped in Blue on its Bottom. The Hakata Doll stands 10¼ inches high, and its Oval Shaped Base measures a little over 7¼ inches long and 4¾ inches wide. There is Paint loss due to rubbing; otherwise, this Hakata Doll is in Very Good Condition for its age, without any chips, cracks or other issues.
