Bob is the oldest son of Harry Jobes (1936-2019), the patriarch of a prominent duck decoy manufacturing family. The Jobes are well-known for their attention to detail and wide variety of waterfowl species available, from ducks to geese and swans. This piece depicts a Chesapeake black duck hen and features accurate color matching for the brown and green plumage. The quick brush strokes meant to replicate the black "eyeliner" and wing tips show that a keen eye is imperative in quality decoy making. Includes oak display stand.
