It is a porcelain ashtray depicting a large alligator at edge of shore. Looks near new, but note that there is a TINY chip/flake under alligators R,Rear foot that is not at all visible from the top of the foot. Ashtray must be turned over to see the flake. No other chips or cracks noted--remains a lovely Florida collectible. Measures app. 6 X 4 1/2'', app. 3 1/2'' high at the highest point. The original manufacturer label appears on the bottom, read "GF Japan." Circa 1950s. I will offer this lovely collectible ashtray for only $30.00 plus $10.00 S&H in the US.
