Description: Beautiful vintage chenille bedspread, labeled with the tag "Bate's George Washington's Choice" . This is a bright white color with geometric/floral designs and fringed edges. It measures approximately 96" wide by 108" long. It has been freshly laundered and has no odors. There are two issues to note: there are a couple wear/thin areas I have found (and taken pictures of to help buyers better understand what I am referring to). There is also a small discoloration down on the edge near wear the fringe begins. It's a tan color but it has some texture to it as if maybe it is a remnant of a piece of tape or something similar, rather than an actual stain. I did not try to clean it any further than the soak and laundering I did. There is a close up picture of this area as well. Overall, this vintage spread has stood up to the test of time, with few "bumps and bruises". Certainly much more durable that cheaply made items of today!
