Description: This listing is for three rectangular pieces of vintage bark cloth. The colors are beautiful autumnal colors of burgundy, beige, brown, blue, and harvest gold. (Please know that the colors on your screen may vary slightly from the actual colors of the fabric) Piece 1: slightly over 8 inches tall and slightly under 24 inches wide. Piece 2: This one is about 13 in tall and slightly under 24 in wide. Piece 3: This is the largest piece. It is rather long and includes both selvedges. It is about 16 in long by 47 inches wide. These barkcloth pieces were in a bag of fabric that was labeled vintage bark cloth 40s-60s. I do not know the actual age of this fabric, but it does look like it came from the '40s or '50s. The selvage of this fabric reads a "Puritan VAT print design Mallard pre-shrunk residual shrinkage not to exceed 2% test" I got this fabric from the estate of a woman who collected high end fabric.
