It may be from a century ago. The two box halves do not fit well. Kings are about 2 1/4 inches high, 7/8 inch base diameter. This set is small and mighty! The felts are in good condition. The set is mostly for analysis. Please see photographs. This is a set to keep handy while analyzing your correspondence games. We combine shipping!
