This set was purchased new my parents in the late 1980s when a volume was available each week at a local grocery store. They have been stored in a smoke- and pet-free home ever since. The books are in good condition with no missing pages or markup. There is some discoloration of the white coverings on the inside of the front and back covers. Volume 10 has a broken spine. There is some light shelf wear and marks from use and handling. Overall, I'd rate them 8.5+ out of 10 for vintage books. These encyclopedias will be sent to you via USPS or UPS (no P.O.
