John Lennon would have liked these glasses...The glasses lenses are surrounded by ornate metal that's specially etched, and held in the frame by it. They're all metal. These are not Tortoise Shell framed glasses. EachOliverPeoples frame was meticulously hand crafted with careful attention to detail, sculpting and perfecting the materials to achieve a balanced and refined final product. Each individual frame followed a process that combines both technological advancements and the human touch. Disregarding conventional processes, each step was carried out despite the length of time required. The frames measure approximately 45mm X 17mm bridge & the temple length is about 140mm. Not only are they functional with your own prescription, or non prescription lenses, they are also works of art. The vintage clip on Sun Shades originally came with the glasses frame and are non prescription. The leather glasses case was made in England. Note: These vintage glasses frames are no longer manufactured..As with all vintage eyeglasses, ANY adjustments to the frame MUST be made by optical professionals.
