Vintage 1960's Wyler Dynawind w/Silver Dial,Signed Crown,Midsize All SS Case

Description: ***********This is midsize watch, measuring approximately 32 mm excluding the crown, approximately 35 mm including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs.*********** This vintage 1960's Wyler Dynawind has a lovely silver dial and the lume, which remains fully intact and emits a quick burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a warm patina. The all stainless steel case shows moderate wear with no visible signs of oxidation. The crystal needs to be replaced at it is cracked and heavily scratched. While I normally show pictures of the movements of watches that I put up for sale the movement on this one can only be accessed through the crystal. A skilled watchmaker will have no problem accessing the movement. The automatic movement runs strong and keeps accurate time. After recently winding the sharply threaded original "W" signed non-screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement had a solid power reserve of approximately 43 hours. When setting the time the hands move a bit tightly and when winding the crown it turns with friction. Given that this watch is more than 50 years old and considering the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended. This watch measures approximately 32 mm excluding the crown, approximately 35 mm including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the mid-case to the top of the fixed bezel, is approximately 7 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 9 mm. Given the vintage nature of this watch and considering the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is recommended.
