Description: This auction is for exactly what you see in the photos. There are 17 different kinds of beads with 25 in each row. The shipping will be free on all our Bluebird, Campfire Girl items. Please read more below. This is a lot of vintage mostly 1960's and some 1970's Bluebird and Campfire Girl honor beads. This is a very small lot from a large amount of older Campfire items recently acquired from a person who was a leader many years ago. What I will be putting on are overstock beads, ceremonial dress beads, patches or badges, pins and more that hasn't ever been used. The honor beads, patches or badges were originally earned and were typically sewn on a blue felt vest or in strands and attached to a brown ceremonial gown or sash. Each color bead represented a different task completed. Please note there are different sizes of the same color wooden beads. There may be some color variations also in the lots. The different sizes represent different levels of achievement within the organization. The larger bead signifies a higher rank or honor earned while the smaller bead represents a lower level accomplishment. I believe I have the below list correct for the identification on the wooden beads but I could be wrong.
