Description: Vintage 1940s Ceramic Figurine – Warner Bros SNIFFLES THE MOUSE WITH ONE HAND POINTED UPWARD AND THE OTHER BEHIND HIS BACK Measures 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/4" wide Mfg: Evan K. Shaw - American Pottery - California Pottery Company Partial mfg. sticker is attached: "(C)Warners Bros. Cartoons, Inc., Sniffles, Shaw & C. Los Angeles" Highly glazed in good condition with a very tiny bit of crazing (in bright light) which is typical of these older ceramic Shaw / American Pottery items. I do not see any crazing in normal inside light. There is a tiny glaze chip at the back of the left ear rim that is difficult to see when on display. Displays nicely. THIS FIGURINE CAN BE SEEN ON PAGE 66 OF DAVID LONGEST'S BOOK "CARTOON TOYS & COLLECTIBLES" PUBLISHED BY COLLECTORS BOOKS WITH A VALUE OF $75 - $125.
