Description: Up for sale is a tenor banjo built by Charles and Elmer Stromberg, probably in the 1920s. There is no model named, though it sports the same Cupperphone tone ring as most Stromberg banjos. The banjo has undergone a bit of cosmetic restoration - some binding was re-glued, 1 and a half missing pearl inlays were replaced, and other inlays were re-glued as well. The finish and plating were not touched and they are still in very good condition. Apart from those bits of restoration, it's all original. The banjo scomes with a modern hard case. The banjo was set up recently and plays very well, with a straight neck. The frets show minor wear but still have plenty of life left in them.
