Description: Vintage Lucien Piccard Classic 14K Gold Mesh Band Ladies Wrist Watch . This was my mom's watch and I believe it was from the 1940's era.Vintage Lucien Piccard watches are known for their craftsmanship and quality. Swiss made mechanical movement with manual winding, in working condition. I am not sure about the accuracy of it's timekeeping or how long it runs, but I can state that it does run after winding. For optimum timekeeping and cleaning, I would recommend having this piece evaluated at a reputable jeweler. This watch has been sitting in a drawer, unused, for many years, so I would think it may need cleaning, lubrication, adjustment and/or any typical preventative maintenance type of service as needed. This watch has a classy, dainty & elegant looking style and appearance, with brilliant gold hands/lack hour marks and a white face. The band and clasp and gold portions of the watch appears to be in very good vintage condition with some light surface scratching on the back of the watch itself. The glass face of the watch is scratched as shown in photos. I'm not sure if the scratches could be polished out or if the glass would require replacement. Wrist Size - 6" wearable length. Slight adjustment is possible with the clasp as shown. Serial number - C1323 I think. It's very tiny print and difficult for me to read, but I've tried to show it in the photo, which you can zoom in on and interpret yourself. Weighs approximately 20 grams - Full disclosure: we believe most of this weight is 14KT yellow gold; however, we are not sure if every part is 14K and make no such guarantees. the back of the watch and the clasp are both engraved as 14K as shown in photos. Watch without band included approximate dimensions: 1.3 cm wide x 1.65 cm long x .55 cm depth No box, paperwork or documents are included.
