This listing is for the Old Vintage University of Washington Huskies Pin King Broadcasting Button Sports Football Pinback Radio TV athletic teams collectible badge pictured only. This pre-owned small button badge features a Husky Dog with a crown.The pin states MUSH, near the bottom it states Radio - King that refers to Seattle based King Broadcasting Company. In 1947 Dorothy Bullitt bought radio station KEVR and had the call letters changed to KING, in 1948 she bought KRSC-TV and KRSC-FM, changing their call letters to KING-TV and KING-FM. On the curl there are two union bugs. This pinback button could be used as a lapel pin, hat cap badge, vest pin, or displayed. The little pin is approximately 1 inch across.
