*UNIQUE* 1993 Skybox Marvel Universe Series IV - 9 Card Display

Description: This is a one-of-a-kind product that utilizes a set of nine cards from the 1993 Marvel Universe Series 4 (Series IV) set that connect together to form a larger image. What we have done is used a very small amount of glue in order to secure the cards together as accurately as possible to create an (almost) seamless version of these renowned cards. This is something that I have been dreaming of doing since I was a kid in the 90s. I was always very annoyed about the large gaps between images when placed in 3-ring binder sheets. We purchased a set of near-mint 1993 Marvel Universe cards specifically for this project, and will be releasing more versions in the future. This was made by hand and meticulously pieced together to get the image as close as possible. As a result of prioritizing connecting lines over connecting card edges, there are two minor gaps. One gap is between card 119 and 122, the other is between card 123 and 126. These gaps are a result of minor manufacturing imperfections in regards to centering from one card to the next. We have done our best to mitigate these imperfections without altering the cards in any way. The frame is 8.5x11 and is acryllic. It is originally designed for displays at retail stores, but after lots of trial and error we found this to be a good option for these cheaper cards. The frame/display is also free-standing and transparent on both sides, allowing you to turn it around and read the backs of the cards any time you wish. The cards are NOT designed to be separated. If you're just interested in the cards by themselves then just pick up a full set of the 93 Marvel Universe, which usually runs about $50 shipped. This frame is NOT UV-blocking, so we recommend keeping this out of direct sunlight to avoid discoloration of cards. We do plan to offer UV-blocking versions of this product in the future with more valuable cards. Product will be dropped off at USPS within 24 hours of ordering and shipped through the North Houston distribution center. It will come wrapped and packed to protect in transit.
