Patch comes heat press ready. How To Properly Adhere Iron-On Patches Prepare Your Garment: Wash and dry the garment prior to applying the patch. Patches apply best to cotton and polyester blends. Heat Up Your Iron: Turn your iron on to the correct setting for the fabric you are adhering the patch to. Ensure the iron is dry and steam setting is turned to off. Position The Patch: Place the patch on the garment where you want it to go. Protect The Patch & Hold It In Place: Place a thin towel or parchment paper over the patch and hold it in place using firm pressure. Apply Heat: Using a circular motion iron over the entire patch holding the iron still for 10 second increments for 30-60 seconds. Flip The Garment: Turn the garment inside out and iron the area behind the patch using the same circular motion in 10 second increments for 30 seconds. Allow To Cool: Let the patch area cool for a minute. If the edge of the patch can be lifted, repeat steps five and six until it cannot be lifted. Tips For Successfully Ironing On Patches Ensure your iron is clean so that you dont carry over any soils to the patch or the garment.
