It was hand forged in the Kochi prefecture (formerly the Tosa province) where forestry products, swords, kitchen cutlery and carpentry tools have been hand forged (handmade) for centuries. Tosa blacksmiths are widely known for their cutlery and forestry tools. The large, widely spaced teeth will rip logs and lumber with ease. It is a beautiful heavy duty saw. Handle not included.
