Description: Very rare five 78 RPM record set of The Music Of Rudolf Friml on Victor. The year these were pressed cannot be confirmed through research databases but I know the acquisition for this set was made in May of 1939. This album set comes from the personal library of Raymond H. Sellmeyer. I obtained his collection some years ago assuming it was from a library until by coincidence a Covington resident told me he knew Mr. Sellmeyer who has since passed away. Mr. Sellmeyer graduated from Covington Catholic High School in 1932 and was very meticulous with his collection. He created a catalog system and inscribed the date of purchase or acquisition for each record. He rubber stamped each album binder with his name and address. In many instances he would include newspaper articles, magazine/trade articles, or performance bills with the record. We relocated and I don't have room to store my collectibles. The records are in very nice condition. The binder is also in good condition with minor wear. The spine and record sleeves are in great shape. These will be packed carefully as they are shellac 78 RPM records I do not grade records as this is a very subjective matter but I will not sell one unless I consider it in very good condition.
