Author Biography Allen Morford, a native of Watsonville, California, spent a significant portion of his life in Juneau, Alaska and Denton, Texas before returning home in 2010. He is the father of three sons: Brett, Stephen, and Michael; and one daughter, Jordan. A new poet, Morfords writing is influenced by the iconic Dr. Seuss series and other innovative childrens fiction. He is currently pursuing an English degree. Allen was searching for a creative outlet when it was suggested he write childrens books. This is his first. Illustrator Kathryn Clausen was born and raised in McAllen, Texas, until moving to Plano in junior high. She spent the majority of her younger life drawing, writing, and creating comics. She is currently a studio art major at the University of North Texas. Clausen initially chose to study computer programming before returning to her first love and seeking a degree in fine arts. An active freelance artist, her collaboration with Allen Morford is her first commercial project.
