It all started with the 357 Super Mag from Handgun Metallic Silhouette. The name changed to 357 Maximum when the industry made guns and ammo for it. Since then, we've been making TC barrels in 357 Maximum for years. We settled on a twist rate of 1:14 for two reasons: First, because it was the original SuperMag twist rate and our customers preferred it. And second, 1:14 is the twist rate of the tack driving Colt Python revolver. This has been a SUPERB ACCURACY formula for us. And since the 350 Legend is almost identical to the 357 Maximum, we decided to stick with the formula. Our 350 Legends are rifled 1:14. True, center-to-center chamber reaming insures centering and linear alignment of the chamber with the bore. Each chamber's headspace is checked and confirmed with gauges.
