The three buckle closures on the front fort, putting it on and taking it off well I have to worry about something like a zipper failing. On the back of the vest is a large utility pocket that can be used to hold a 3 L hydration bladder or something like a sledgehammer or crowbar to use in breaching. To the right of that pouch are two smaller pouches that are tall to fit a radio or flash bang grenade. Inside of the back panel is an approximately 10 x 12 space to put a hard armor panel. On the very top of the backhand is a drag handle. For adjustment on this vest, there are three side adjustment points on each side, one adjustment point at the top of each shoulder, and the entire vest bottom is ringed with small loops to mount a tactical belts for use and easier carrying even more gear. The main body of this vest is a reinforced mesh material, which lets it keep its shape but lets you shed your body heat.
