Description: Maker: This wonderful set of 4 bouillon cups and saucers is by the legendary English china maker Cauldon. And it reflects that company's high quality: the fine bone china is thin and translucent and the craftsmanship is of a very high standard. On the reverse of all eight pieces is the Cauldon England mark that was in use between 1905 and 1920. Cauldon became Royal Cauldon in 1920. It became part of Coalport in the 1960s and part of Wedgwood when Coalport was taken over. Design: The pattern features a band of floral panels against a cream colored background of bone china between two thin blue geometric bands. The center is pure white. The handwritten pattern number V6989 is on the reverse of each piece. Size: The cups are 4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches tall. The saucers are 5 5/8 inches wide. Condition: All 8 pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks, marks, repairs or wear. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
