Description: SG- style guitar body, unknown builder or brand. 1-peice mahogany. body is sanded down to wood and has some holes and chips that were repaired and filled.Body will require more sanding and sealing/painting. I added a 3/16" mahogany shim in the neck to make up the difference in the height of the neck i was going to use with this as it sat too deep in the pocket, however i ended up using the neck on a different project and have no use for this body now. I used titebond2 to glue in the shim and it has the correct 2 degree neck angle. you could remove it with a router or possibly steam but it is solid and can be used as is. neck pocket is 2.25" wide and 7/8" deep. Body has anchors for tailpiece-USA threads as well as holes for a vibrola style tailpiece. Not sure what the pickups are, i think 57 classics but the decals are worn off. neck is 7.9k and bridge is 8.2k. All the plastic parts(pickup rings M-69's, pickguard and tenon cover) are authentic GIBSON parts.Selling as a project. Sold AS IS with NO returns or refunds so ask all questions before biding
