Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE SETH THOMAS MANTEL CLOCK LEADER NO. 2 IN GREAT ORIGINAL CONDITION Offered for sale is a nice Seth Thomas cabinet style mantel clock with a walnut stained mahogany case that is in good condition. The clock is shown on page 489 of Ly’s Seth Thomas book in volume 1 of the 3rd edition. The clock is item 1634 and gives 1922 as the date of manufacture. The clock measures 10.5 inches high by eight inches wide. The clock comes with the proper pendulum bob and a proper fitting winding key. The clock shows well and strikes out the hours and the half-hour on a nice sounding coil gong. A video of the clock striking is attached so that you can listen to the clock strike out the hours. A widow called and asked me to liquidate the clock collection of her husband who had passed. The clocks had been serviced years prior but the clocks have been sitting for several years. I removed the movement and ran it through the ultrasonic cleaner. I then oiled the movement, reinstalled it in the case and put the clock in beat. This is a running clock that has ran for a full eight-day cycle. All these clocks in this lot will be put up for sale as time permits. Shipping with be via fully insured Fed Ex Home Delivery.
