Description: This listing is for one bud/pup; see 2nd photo for actual plant, taken November 8, 2024. The mother plant is shown in the other photos. The last 2 photos show the Royal Red hybrid in bloom beside a pink Maria Piazza hybrid and a white Echinopsis (I sometimes have pups of these for sale). You can see that the Royal Red has a slightly smaller flower. The Maria Piazza flowers are huge. Flowers open in the evening and last through the following day, usually wilting by the evening, so about 24 hours. The Royal Red hybrid grows taller and narrower than most of my other plants, so it can grow in a smaller pot (6 inch pot). Should be able to bloom in 2--3 years if you give it the right care. I will email you a care sheet so yours can bloom too! I oftenhave several types of Echinopsis cactus for sale. You can plant and grow any of them any time of year! Put the pot in a sunny window and they will grow all winter. Unlike some other cactus pups listed on eBay that you may see, these are not growing smashed together so that they are misshapen---they are bright emerald green, perfect, have gotten plenty of water, fertilizer, and love, and will be packed with care so they arrive perfect. With proper care, yours should grow large enough to bloom in about 2--3 years. Flowers are a beautiful red, with subtle orange/coral in the center, and iridescent magenta along the outside. Here is the story on these plants: for over 50 years, I have been growing Echinopsis Easter Lily Cactus (some of these are for sale in my other listings, larger plants). Only recently have I started growing a few other varieties. The flowers are spectacular as you can see from the first and last photos. In the mean time, these cute cacti are beautiful, perfect, and you will enjoy seeing them grow! At this stage, I would plant them inside, keep them in a sunny window, and keep the soil just barely moist. Once they are bigger, say the size of a golf ball, you can transition them outside if weather allows and water a bit less often, but they really do just fine indoors in a directly sunny window, as shown in the photos. They grow best at about 69 degrees or warmer, but by next summer you should be able to put them outside, if that's what you want, once night temps warm up over 45 degrees, or set them out on warm days and bring in at night. Echinopsis are native to areas in Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia. Your cactus can bloom when it is about the size of an orange, if you give it the right care, which mostly includes plenty of direct sunlight, and the right amount of water, and a little fertilizer. I will send you a care sheet so your plant can grow, bloom, and multiply like mine! With plenty of sun, these cactus plants will bloom from April into October. I bring my plants inside for the winter around mid-October, and keep them in a sunny window until around mid-May when I put them outside again. The plants grow very quickly from April to October and then slow down, but small ones will grow all winter inside in a sunny window. They may also produce many of their own buds, which you can leave on, plant separately, or give to your friends. NO EXTRA CHARGES TO SHIP ADDITIONAL PUPS! Mix and match as many as you want of any types, only one shipping charge of $6.00! If for some reason eBay tries to charge extra (happens sometimes when I only have 1 left of some types) I will refund the extra charge right away!
