Bloch's follow-up to Psycho, this is a weird horror story in which a nice middle class couple take an unconscious good-looking young man into their home.... The book appears to be rare in the original dust jacket. Original cloth hardback in original dustwrapper. The jacket shows the original 10/6 price to the inside front flap. It is in very attractive condition with some creasing and wear, and some toning to the white areas (see pictures). The book itself is in pleasing condition, with some wear and a crease to the spine (see pictures). Binding sound and square. Some toning to the leaves and page edges. Small remainder mark to bottom of text block. Pen ticks to the title page (see picture). A scarce book. Provenance: The dust jacket was part of the collection of rare original vintage dust jackets compiled by the celebrated bibliographer George Locke, and bears his pencilled note to the inside front flap.
