A true antique gas and electric combination fixture, now converted to all electric. From the time when homes were transitioning from gas to electric. This fixture allowed for the gas to be used when electricity wasn't available (electricity wasn't as reliable for a time). The original Yost brass socket is marked "Yost Pat's 50 CP 250 V". The CP stood for candle power. ;) A complementary antique brass socket has been installed on the side that was previously gas and is working well. Both sockets have been cleaned, tested and freshly rewired. The antique glass shades are gorgeous, with no chips or cracks. Made of all brass, the fixture has been cleaned and lightly polished - the curved gas arm has a slightly darker patinated finish than the straight pole. Use two standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts (or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like). Light bulbs and ceiling mount screws not included.
