Rings are traditional canning rings and the are made in the US. Lids are high quality and come out of West Virginia. They are not the chinese stuff. We count on a .5%-1 % fail rate. 1 in 200 or 1 in 100. We can most days and if something doesn't seal, it's probably something we did. We find the seal rates higher than many name brands, and we've bought them all at one time or another. Sorry no refunds.
