Rare VNTG Blue Arnels Mushroom 5pc Canister Set w/Matching Salt/Paper/Napkin.

Description: This is a large and rather rare vintage collection of 1970s Arnels mushroom canisters done in a unique blue and tan color scheme. The set includes 5 matching canisters with lids, the matching salt and pepper shaker set, as well as the napkin holder. These are best described as a glossy blue opalescent "rainbow" effect of pinks and yellows overall. Along with tan and green detailing for the mushrooms and greenery around. There is also gold detailing under the lids rim and under the mushroom caps. These really are rather unique! Each side of the canisters is written in the same gold detailing "flour, sugar, rice, tea, garlic." It is written on only 1 side, so if you didn't wish the writing to show, you can turn the print away from being seen. Each canister is marked Arnels. This set is in beautiful condition, especially for the age. As with any vintage pottery, please expect there will be signs of wear and enjoyment over the years. Please see the detailed list of each items condition below. Canister "flour" measures 11.25" tall and 7.5" at the widest. There is minor crazing in the interior and a thin crack at the bottom of the canister seen on either side. There are no other cracks or chips to this canister or lid. Canisters "sugar" measures 10.25" tall and 6.75" at the widest. This canister has minor crazing, though the canister and lid have no cracks or chips. Canister "rice" measures 7.75" tall and 5.75" at the widest. This canister had a hairline crack inside, which is thin. It can be seen under the mushrooms on the outside, along with a small chip of missing paint on the greenery. Other than minor crazing, there are no other cracks or chips to this canister or lid. Canister "tea" measures 7.25" tall and 5" at the widest. The canister and lid are in very nice condition with only minor crazing. Canister "garlic" measures 6.75" tall and 4.75" at the widest. The canister was designed with 7 holes on one side and 8 on the other to allow venting for the garlic. The canister and lid are in very nice condition with only minor crazing. The salt and pepper shakers measure 4.25" tall and 3.25" at the widest. Both have their stoppers. There are no cracks or chips to either container. The napkin holder measures 4.25" tall and 4.75" at the widest. There are no cracks or chips and have nearly no crazing. * All measurements are appropriate.
