It's tacky and over the top, yet refined and nuanced. I think the word might be "kitsch." The gold pieces are plastic. There are three garlands - one is still in the original packaging. There are three spools of ribbon. One is unused and the other two have been carefully re-spooled. The tissue paper isn't part of the actual set, but the colors are similar and they could be useful for decorating. The balls are in great condition. They are coated in velvet, so they tend to get dusty. A lint roller cleans them up quickly. Very nice used vintage condition. All pieces have been kept in excellent shape. Expect to see very minor signs of wear (small fray, ding, or other imperfection). Perfect for vintage decor, photography, props, staging, or collecting.
