Description: Buddy L Railway Express ride on / pull dilevery truck. I believe this truck was made in 1949. It doesn't look like it's ever had a restoration on it. I don't believe it needs one. In my opinion. The decals are in great shape for the age. One side reads Serve Ice Cream your favorite way. American dariry association. The other reads, ...and Santa I always drink my Milk American dairy association. The trucks dimensions are approximately 22"L X 6"W X 9-" H. There are some dings to the porcelain / paint, but nothing that really takes away from what this truck is. It looks like one of the hubcaps has been repaired or lost (14th picture). The front window splitter looks bent. It doesn't quite reach the roof (21st picture). The carriers that hold the axels look a little bent (22nd picture). The box to the truck has a slight angel to it. I tried to point it out in the last 2 pictures. None of the metal is bent. I can't help but think it was made that way to ride on. The doors are intact with the lock. The front wheel assembly looks great along with the handle. I've pointed out all of the flaws that I see. This would be a great addition to any collection.
