Description: Heeley & son’s vintage corkscrew still has good movement to its moving parts. The Wier 1 was first manufactured in 1884 and was spelled incorrectly on the corkscrew it was stamped Weir. The Wier 1 were manufactured with a bronze or nickel plated finish. I don’t know the finish on this corkscrew. In 1912 the company simply marked James Heeley & Sons LTD on the Wier 1. In one of the last photos you can barely see its stamped Weir patent meaning this one was manufactured starting 1884 can’t give exact year. Please see photos as they are part of the description.
