Rare Antique DOBERMAN PINSCHER Cold Painted Dog CAST IRON Metal Figurine

Description: ANTIQUE SILVER METAL DOGS- Probable DOBERMAN PINSCHERThis auction is for a larger sized ANTIQUE SILVER Cast Iron metal dog figurine and unsure of the breed but looks like a DOBERMAN PINSCHER. It is a solid piece (not hollow) and must have been on a base of some kind at one time since the bottom of 2 feet have alterations to accommodate attachment to something. It is in excellent condition considering the age. I think it may have been a rust color cold-painted piece at one time (see pictures) but most of this is gone. Please see pictures for better descriptions. The dimensions are:· 4 1/8” tall (at the head) & 2 5/8” tall (at the rear)· 4 5/8” long from snout to back leg· 1” wide I have multiple metal dogs in my collection (SEE FINAL PICTURES) and am selling most of these due to retirement and downsizing. The dogs are a variety of breeds, sizes and metals. Most of these dogs are from unknown makers, but the banks and doorstop are HUBLEY. These dogs have been primarily purchased in antique shops in and around the Midwest for the past 50 years. These are some of my best dogs. I DO COMBINE SHIPPING FOR THESE DOGS TO SAVE MONEY.
