ANTIQUE ABP 12" CRYSTAL BOWL PANELS DIAMOND & QUEEN HOBSTAR BASE Up for sale is this outstanding heavy finely hand cut glass/crystal console bowl This size was often used as console or dining table bowl. The cutting is very finely done, deep and sharp. The paneled sides are deeply cut in diamond design panels. alternating with queens design panels. The magnificent base is cut in 3 designs -a large oval hobstar with a smaller round center jewel cut hobstar which then has a smaller Brunswick star center. The workmanship is exemplary. The Dorflinger factory made a similar design. The condition is perfect -it has been used but definitely well cared for. There are no visual flaws at all. With fingers one can feel one very slight roughness on the inner edge of the top rim. The base has the usual minor use age marks. SIZE: 12" round and it is 4 3/4" tall.
