Description: Extremely rare lot. Two pieces of Ashland, Ohio, temperance ephemera from what I think is 1907. A vote by the "Farmers and Citizens" outlawed alcohol and saloons in 1907, not only in the city, but all of Ashland County. It wasn't until 1934 that a (legal) saloon opened there again. Both have a lot of wear and are rather fragile. First one is about 10.5" x 14" with 4 pages and the second is one page like a broadside.
