Titled "Linnémuseet och Linnéträdgården ca 1745." Purchased at Linnémuseet--the museum of Carl von Linné's home and garden in Uppsala, 1743-1778. The "Linnea" flower--a wild pink twinflower that grows all over northern Europe and parts of Canada and the northwestern United States--was named for Linnaeus by one of his contemporaries.
